• #1 Holybelly: a great brunch in Paris | Our article •

There’s been a big coffeshop hype in the past few months in Paris. Holybelly has been part of it bit in a good way. The brunch is a true hit, but try to come early as seating is limited. We’ve had sweet pancakes, which came with fresh fruits, maple syrup, and pistacchio. The chai tea latte was well executed. All in all a great spot, and they’re not only open for brunch.

• #2 Dessance : a new dessert bar Our article •

Dessance is not just another trendy concept in Paris. The pastry chef used to worked in a three Michelin starred restaurant and now he’s the only chef in the kitchen. We really loved the Baked Alaska (or omelette norvégienne in French): inside the meringue, there was a fantastic chocolate biscuit with a caramel sauce. My friend had an intense chocolate bar. It will cost you €19 for a single dessert, entirely worth it.

• #3 LES JARDINS DE SOPHIE, let’s leave Paris | Our article •

Xonrupt-Longemer is a lovely city in Jura, though a bit far from Paris. We had dinner at Les Jardins de Sophie, which was the gastronomic restaurant (one Michelin star) of the hotel. I had the pigeon, perfectly cooked and with a well executed sauce (the kind of which you finish off with your bread). The pike perch was more disappointing. The dessert, a neat Mirabelle plum crème brulée was truly amazing.
