#1 Le MORVAN in Quarré-les-Tombes | Our article
If you’re on your way to Burgundy, don’t miss this great table. Located in the beautiful Morvan region, the chef is incredibly talented. This is classical French cuisine at very reasonable price. Everything was perfectly executed. Back to business: stratospheric lentils velouté with foie gras, perfectly cooked guinea fowl with cider and morels sauce, and a beautiful strawberries sablé with honey and rhubarb to finish off. The price tag? Unbeatable €29.50 lunch prix fixe (including cheese).

#2 La FERME SAINT SIMON| Our article
A successful re-opening. That’s a brief way to describe our experience at la Ferme Saint Simon. Don’t worry, we have a few more to tell you about it. Located on the left bank, not far from Assemblée Nationale, the restaurant has been taken over by celebrity architect Marcelo Joulia. He did a good job with the space, very comfy and modern. The chef does a good job in the kitchen. We loved the lobster salad, and also the Bigorre Pork, roasted and coming with millefeuille style potatoes. For dessert, we had a great re-interpretation of the lemon tart. The lunch combo is priced at €29 but it gets quickly pricey à la carte.

#3 Le SHANG PALACE | Our article
The Shang Palace is the Chinese restaurant of the Shangri-La, a palace located Place d’Iéna. No need to tell you that your wallet needs to be full when the bill comes. We highly recommend you the rotisserie (chicken, pork and especially duck). The dim sums were equally great. Our only disappointment was with the tofu rolls.
