#1 PIERRE HERMÉ vanilla waffle | Our article
In the event of a macarons overdose, you should try the gaufre at Pierre Hermé. It’s composed of an intense vanilla cream sandwiched by two oval shaped waffles. The texture of the vanilla cream was perfect, very smooth but at the same time we could feel the sugar grains on our tongue.

#2 Restaurant KIKU |Our article
This is the hit of the month. Down to earth but brilliant Japanese cuisine. We had an amazing fish hot pot (great to fight Paris cold weather) with salmon, tofu and tender vegetables. Excellent roasted turbot transcended by a great soy based sauce and a blend of Japanese spices. What about the price? €35 for the diner menu: you can call it a steal!

#3 Le foie gras DIVAY | Our article
We highly recommend you to stop by this great charcuterie located rue Bayen in the 17th arrondissement if you’re looking for a nice gift. This is a good old family business, and they make the best foie gras in town. It’s well seasoned and homemade. The price tag is not too high (about €100/kg).
