TARTE TROPÉZIENNE in Paris, should you really have a try?

1 GrumThe tarte Tropézienne is supposed to come from the eponymous city on the French Riviera, Saint-Tropez, but we actually got ours in Paris. A shop entirely dedicated to this amazing pastry has opened recently not far from Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
The  custard was  just perfect : not too thick and very fresh. We were more disappointed with the brioche style crust which had probably been made a day or two before we bought it.
All in all, if you don’t feel like travelling all the way to Saint-Tropez you should totally go to the Tarte Tropézienne shop in Paris, it’s worth it though the price tag is a bit expensive (€23 for a four people tarte).
