The restaurant Les Enfants Rouges has opened a few months ago, not far from the famous (and so trendy) Marché des Enfants Rouges. The decor is clearly underwhelming, like a very old French bistro. But it’s in the plate (and the glass) that magic happens thanks to the Japanese chef.
Amazing spelt wheat risotto with squid ink, Jackson Pollock would love the texture variations. But the chicken Supreme was also to die for, especially because of the combination with the creamy lobster sauce.
On the wine side, the sommelier is quite skilled at selecting great quality wines for a low price.
You need to book now, Les Enfants Rouges have a bright future. Lunch at €30 and wine glass from €7.
