The restaurant Antoine in Paris offers many assets: its amazing view on the Eiffel Tower, its classy interior design, but most important, its great fish dishes. The chef, Thibault Sombardier, has also been quite prominent on TV recently as he appeared in the famous show Top Chef.
I started off with the pollock carpaccio with lemon leaves infused olive oil. Very refreshing. Then, I had a French classic: the sole meunière with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The star of the show is obviously the sole, perfectly cooked with this unique buttery flavor.
The dessert was good, but considering the rest of the meal (and the price tag), I was expecting something more than a (not so) lightweight texture tangerine soufflé.
