FRAGMENTS, a great coffeeshop in Marais, Paris

1 Grumcafe fragmentsToday, we’ll introduce you to a neat coffeeshop in Marais. Le Marais is a great neighborhood located between Bastille and Hotel de Ville, where most of Parisian hipsters seem to live in. But just like Williamsburg, it gets extremely crowded during week-ends.
But if you stroll down one of this back lane, you might stumble on Fragments coffeeshop. The owner of this tiny place is extremely skilled at making latte: mine was the best I’ve ever had in Paris so far (€4). Too bad the green tea was slightly expensive (€5) and the chocolate cake was unsatisfying (€4). The decor is very appeasing, not the usual hipster retro style made of recycled furniture and naked light bulbs.
All in all, we’ll be back for the coffee, granted I can convince my lady friend to appreciate a daily cup of joe.
